IHC- and FCM-validated Antibodies for SARS-CoV-2 Research

As researchers and clinicians learn more about SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, their newfound knowledge leads to new questions. This relentless process demands that their research tools evolve to maintain the momentum necessary to spur further discovery.

GeneTex’s SARS-CoV-2 antibody catalog is expanding both in product number and in validated applications. Multiple publications document the utility of one of its spike (S2) antibodies (GTX632604) for immunohistochemistry, which is of crucial significance as scientists work to identify the mechanisms underlying the effects of the virus on different tissues and organ systems (1, 2, 3). In addition, preliminary evidence from a collaborating academic lab clearly demonstrates the successful use of three GeneTex antibodies for flow cytometry of SARS-CoV-2-infected cells (i.e., GTX632604, GTX632696, and GTX135357). These findings add new applications to products already shown to perform for western blot, immunocytochemistry, and ELISA.
